Texas A&M offensive lineman has decided to transfer to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, according to reports from Matt Zenitz of 247Sports. Erb entered the transfer portal over a month ago, marking another departure for the Aggies under head coach Mike Elko.

Erb, a sophomore from Newark, TX, played sparingly during his time at Texas A&M. This season, he saw the field once during the Aggies’ dominant win over No. 9 Missouri in October and appeared in just two games in 2023.

At Tulsa, Erb will join head coach Tre Lamb, who is set to take over the program in his first season. The Golden Hurricane struggled in 2024, finishing last in the American Athletic Conference with a 1-7 conference record and a 3-9 overall mark. Despite starting the season with a commanding 62-28 victory over Northwestern State, Tulsa faltered with close losses to Arkansas State (28-24) and a blowout defeat to Oklahoma State (45-10).

While Texas A&M has faced several losses to the transfer portal, the Aggies have also been active in acquiring talent. Recent additions include defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim (Iowa State), tight ends Nate Boerkircher (Nebraska) and Micah Riley (Auburn), receivers Micah Hudson (Texas Tech), KC Concepcion (NC State), and Mario Craver (Mississippi State), edge rushers T.J. Searcy (Florida), Dayon Hayes (Colorado), and Sam M’Pemba (Georgia), and quarterback Jacob Zeno (UAB).

With the offseason still underway, Texas A&M is expected to pursue more additions via the transfer portal.
