REPORT: Steelers add OT Calvin Anderson from injured reserve, elevate 2 receivers for playoff game
The Pittsburgh Steelers made key roster moves ahead of their AFC wild-card playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night.
Offensive tackle Calvin Anderson was reinstated from injured reserve and will be active for the matchup at M&T Bank Stadium. His return provides much-needed depth on the offensive line, especially with rookie guard Mason McCormick listed as questionable due to a broken hand.
At wide receiver, the Steelers elevated Scotty Miller and Jamal Agnew from the practice squad to the active roster. Miller had been released from the 53-man roster on Thursday but re-signed to the practice squad before being called up for the game. To make room, the team released safety Ayo Oyelola from the practice squad.
Anderson, who joined the Steelers in September, has appeared in four games this season. He was sidelined with a groin injury and placed on injured reserve on Dec. 12 but returned to practice earlier in the week. Since his NFL debut in 2020, Anderson has played in 50 games and made 14 starts. His presence will bolster the Steelers’ offensive line as they prepare for the critical postseason showdown.
