Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens has been fined $22,511 for grabbing the facemask of Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt during the fourth quarter of the Steelers’ 19-17 loss last Saturday. This is the largest fine Pickens has received this season, adding to his already significant disciplinary record.

Pickens leads the Steelers in both the number of fines and the total amount, with nearly $100,000 in fines across 10 incidents this year. Three of these fines were for unnecessary roughness involving facemask penalties, another three for taunting, and two for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Last season, Pickens was fined $200,000 by the NFL and the Steelers, with additional private fines remaining undisclosed. As the Steelers prepare for a high-stakes playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens, Pickens’ growing list of penalties continues to be a concern.
