JUST IN: Colts sign LB to 1-year contract extension
Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Colts have announced a one-year contract extension for linebacker Cameron McGrone.
Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 236 pounds, McGrone has appeared in 22 NFL games during his career, playing for both the Colts (2022-24) and the New England Patriots (2021-22). Over that span, he has recorded three tackles (two solo) and eight special teams stops. A fifth-round pick (177th overall) by the Patriots in the 2021 NFL Draft, McGrone played college football at Michigan.
In the 2024 season, McGrone participated in nine games, contributing six tackles on special teams. A native of Indianapolis, he is a proud graduate of Lawrence Central High School.
