Travis Scott had a busy Sunday in Florida, where he not only threw the ceremonial first pitch for the Houston Astros at their spring training opener, but also became the face of a special bobblehead made in his honor. The rapper, who is a dedicated Astros fan, attended the Feb. 23 game at CACTI Park, the MLB training facility named after his CACTI hard seltzer brand. Scott has a multi-year naming-rights deal for the park, and his Cactus Jack brand extends to a record label, publishing company, and a nonprofit organization supporting youth education and creativity.

According to a press release, the first 2,000 fans at the game received a limited-edition Travis Scott bobblehead, featuring him in a custom “CACTI” baseball uniform and standing on a base with his name and the CACTI logo. During the game, Scott was seen meeting Astros pitcher Bryan Abreu and the team’s mascot, Orbit. Scott’s Days Before Rodeo mixtape re-release on vinyl earned him his fourth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in fall 2024.

Earlier that week, Scott debuted the Sealie Flood + Bernice Webster Corner garden at Houston’s Highland Heights Elementary School. The initiative from his Cactus Jack Foundation aims to provide food for youth facing food insecurity in the city.

Scott also hosted the Cactus Jack HBCU Softball Classic at Daikin Park in Houston, with performances by Tyla, Swae Lee, Metro Boomin, Teyana Taylor, Mariah the Scientist, and BIA. Additionally, he announced a partnership between his foundation and the Fashion Scholarship Fund to launch the Cactus Jack Design Ethos 101 Program, offering $10,000 scholarships and mentorship to students.
