The Buffalo Bills are heading into the 2025 season with the same goal they’ve had every year since Josh Allen became their quarterback: winning the Super Bowl. They’ve dominated the AFC East, claiming the division title five years in a row and never posting fewer than 11 wins in a season during that stretch.

Running back James Cook has been a key contributor to that success in recent years. However, tensions have reportedly arisen over contract negotiations this offseason.

Despite that, a recently leaked video reveals just how much Cook still cares about Buffalo.

Despite the contract standoff being one of the biggest storylines of the offseason, it doesn’t mean a resolution is out of the question. In fact, a recently leaked video might offer some hope for Bills fans.

In a clip with streamer N3ON, James Cook was seen with a collection of NFL team logos laid out in front of him. He sifted through them, picked out the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins logos, and tore them in half—later adding the Kansas City Chiefs logo to the mix for good measure.

The video makes one thing clear—James Cook’s loyalty to the Bills hasn’t wavered, even if the organization hasn’t fully reciprocated that commitment. As Buffalo shifts focus to the draft, negotiations with Cook have seemingly taken a back seat.

“We’re on to the draft. Just because we don’t get something done this year doesn’t mean we can’t get something done before he’s a free agent,” said Bills general manager Brandon Beane at the NFL annual meeting in Palm Beach, Florida. “I don’t see us getting something done anytime soon.”

While talks are stalled for now, Cook’s passionate display in the video suggests he’s still all-in on Buffalo—for the fans, the team, and the city.
