Report: Rams latest signing leaves unintended mystery for fans to solve

Wait a second… shouldn’t there be more names on that signings list?

The Los Angeles Rams selected six players in the 2025 NFL Draft and reportedly agreed to terms with 17 undrafted rookies afterward. So it’s no surprise that Rams fans were puzzled when the team only announced the signings of four drafted players and 15 undrafted free agents.

As of now, tight end Terrance Ferguson and running back Jarquez Hunter haven’t officially signed. While there may be valid reasons for the delay, the Rams also haven’t confirmed deals with undrafted interior offensive lineman Willie Lampkin or defensive lineman Da’Jon Terry.

Time to grab the Scooby Snacks and head to the Mystery Van—because something’s not adding up.

Could it be a clerical mistake? Or perhaps some unforeseen delay in finalizing Lampkin’s and Terry’s contracts? Neither player has updated their social media to reflect a signing, but then again, many of the Rams’ undrafted additions haven’t either.

Was there a mix-up with jersey numbers? That theory doesn’t hold water—Terry’s been assigned No. 98 and Lampkin No. 62. So whatever’s missing from the official signing report, all signs suggest the back-end onboarding process has already taken place.

Maybe it’s just a case of human oversight?

Another player caught in this roster-reporting haze is running back Jordan Waters. Although he has reportedly signed with the Rams, he wasn’t included in the images of players inking their rookie contracts.

That puts Waters in a similar gray area as Da’Jon Terry and Willie Lampkin. But unlike those two, his absence may simply come down to a missing photo. With so many newcomers arriving at once, it’s possible the Rams’ reporting process just hasn’t kept pace.

At this point, the situation seems to be more about timing than anything truly newsworthy. We’re just sharing this update to help clear up any confusion. Currently, the Rams’ roster sits at 87 players out of the 90 allowed. If anything changes, we’ll pass along the news.

For now, it just looks like some wires got crossed.

As always, thanks for following along.
