Clemson men’s basketball has bolstered its 2025-26 roster by adding seven newcomers, including six transfers and one freshman, under head coach Brad Brownell.

Leading the group is Nick Davidson, who had an impressive three-year tenure at Nevada. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 15.8 points and 6.5 rebounds last season, starting 67 straight games. Davidson, a 1,000-point scorer, boasts nearly 60% shooting on two-pointers throughout his career and hit 37.1% from three-point range last season. He earned spots on the All-Mountain West Second Team and NABC Second Team All-District. His younger brother, Blake Davidson, is also joining Clemson as a freshman from Mater Dei High School in California.

Carter Welling brings size and defensive skills after a strong season at Utah Valley, where he was named the WAC Defensive Player of the Year. He averaged 13.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game, starting every contest for the Wolverines. Welling also spent a year at UC Irvine prior to that.
