The Buffalo Bills have made another addition to their offseason roster, announcing the signing of defensive tackle Marcus Harris, who will wear jersey number 72.

Harris, a seventh-round pick by the Houston Texans in the 2024 NFL Draft, spent his rookie year on the New England Patriots’ practice squad. In college, he appeared in 47 games over five seasons with Kansas and Auburn, totaling 126 tackles, including 11.5 sacks and 31.5 tackles for loss.

While his performance at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine was underwhelming—posting a 5.06-second 40-yard dash and other modest athletic testing results—Harris stands out for his size and power. At 6’2” and 286 pounds, he brings a physical presence that could help Buffalo reinforce its run defense.

Cracking the starting lineup won’t be easy, but this offseason may offer Harris his best chance to stick with the Bills. To make space for him on the roster, the team released defensive tackle Devin Brandt-Epps.
