In addition to Bueckers, four-time All-Star Arike Ogunbowale also missed Tuesday’s practice and has already been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Sun with a right knee injury.

The Wings will also be without Ty Harris, JJ Quinerly, and Li Yueru for the matchup. Meanwhile, Myisha Hines-Allen is reportedly handling a personal matter and may not be available, though she has not been officially listed on the injury report.

Wings Sign Serena Sundell

The Wings have turned to reinforcements amid their mounting injury woes, signing 6-foot-2 guard Serena Sundell, a third-round pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.

Dallas announced the move on social media Tuesday. Sundell was originally selected 26th overall by the Seattle Storm but was waived before the season began, leaving her without a roster spot.

The Wings’ current injury crisis has opened the door for Sundell, who, at 22, could make her WNBA debut against the Sun, especially given Dallas’ thin backcourt. A standout at Kansas State, Sundell earned two All-Big 12 selections and NCAA All-Region honors, finishing her college career with averages of 12.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 three-pointers per game.
