BREAKING NEWS: Patrick Mahomes controversial another key man who is greater than him

Since delivering his controversial commencement address at Benedictine College, Harrison Butker, the kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs, has rapidly earned widespread disdain both online and within the NFL.

During Butker’s speech, he advised female graduates that their primary responsibility was to be homemakers, and he also made derogatory remarks about the LGBTQ+ community.

Recently, fans came across an older video clip featuring Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes discussing his strained relationship with Butker.

Following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory in February, Mahomes appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and admitted that he doesn’t communicate with Butker throughout the year.

“Honestly, I don’t have much interaction with Harrison throughout the year,” Mahomes remarked. “I just let him focus on his job. But I have confidence that if I can get us within 40 yards, he’ll make the kick. You saw in the game, under pressure, I threw short knowing Harrison would come through.”

“Only before the season and after the season,” Mahomes clarified.

The Chiefs have not officially addressed Butker’s controversial remarks, but a change.org petition has been initiated calling for Butker’s removal from the team. As of now, the petition has garnered over 80,000 signatures.

Despite the controversy, Butker remains one of the premier kickers in the league, boasting a field goal success rate of over 95 percent and holding the record for the longest successful kick in Super Bowl history.
