Calgary Stampeders release 22 players including DB Titus Wall

The Calgary Stampeders have released 22 players, including defensive back Titus Wall, placed 11 players on the practice squad, and suspended two players who are returning to school.

Titus Wall, standing six feet tall and weighing 200 pounds, is a 25-year-old from Lima, Ohio. He re-signed with the Stampeders on January 31, 2024, and played in two preseason games, making four tackles. Wall initially joined the Stampeders as a free agent on April 11, 2022.

In his 2022 season, Wall recorded 39 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions, and one touchdown over ten games. His 2023 performance saw him amass 55 tackles, seven special teams tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, and two pass breakups in 11 games.

Wall played five seasons collegiately at Missouri State University from 2017 to 2021. During his time with the Bears, he accumulated 261 tackles (157 solo, 104 assists), six tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, nine pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries in 54 games. He earned All-Missouri Valley Football Conference Honorable Mention in 2021.
