DONE DEAL: Oregon Ducks confirm 5-star commitment with a huge contract agreement
Oregon will soon find out if they’ve secured a verbal commitment from 5-star tight end Linkon Cure. Cure announced on Thursday afternoon that he will make his college decision in a few days.
Cure is choosing between Texas A&M, Kansas, Kansas State, and Oregon. He will reveal his decision live on the 247Sports YouTube Channel at 2 PM PST on July 1st.
Cure visited Oregon in mid-June and had a positive experience with the Ducks.
“The whole trip was a highlight for me,” said Cure. “I was very happy to be back in Eugene and get an even better feeling for the program. I loved being around the players and coaching staff.”
247Sports’ Greg Biggins recently updated his scouting report on Cure’s game and how it will translate to college next year.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound prospect from Goodland High School in Kansas is ranked as the No. 26 player in the nation, the No. 2 tight end nationally, and the No. 2 prospect in Kansas. Currently, the 247Sports Crystal Ball predicts Cure will choose Kansas State with five predictions.
