BREAKING 5 Star Alabama ‘WOLF’ commit Confirms Flip To Nebraska

Bama247 recently provided an update on Alabama ‘WOLF’ commit after his weekend visit to Nebraska. Merritt sparked some conversation in the recruiting world by attending Nebraska’s game against Colorado in Lincoln. However, he told Bama247 that “Twitter kind of blows it out of proportion a little bit” when asked what Alabama fans should make of the visit.

Merritt plans to return to Tuscaloosa for the Georgia game on Sept. 28 and could visit again later in the fall. This will be the first time the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder is back on campus since his official visit in early June, when he ultimately chose Alabama over Nebraska a few weeks later.

Reflecting on his decision, Merritt told Bama247, “When it came down to it, if I want to be the best, I have to compete against the best.

We’re going to have the best class in the nation, so why would I go anywhere else?” He also reaffirmed his confidence in his summer commitment and expanded on his remarks about social media exaggerating certain situations.
