Elliotte Friedman says the Bruins have made up their minds about Jeremy Swayman

Some speculate that the Bruins may be forced to trade Swayman, but Elliotte Friedman of *32 Thoughts* believes that’s unlikely. Although Friedman hasn’t spoken directly with Bruins GM Don Sweeney, he is confident the team doesn’t plan to move their star goalie.

“I haven’t spoken to Don Sweeney, but my impressions are that the Bruins do not want to trade Swayman,” Friedman said.

This is encouraging for Bruins fans, but it’s still concerning that no deal has been reached. Swayman remains absent from training camp and has no intention of attending until a contract is finalized. As a result, the Bruins and their dedicated fanbase may be in for a challenging period ahead.
