Georgia Southern makes massive announcement after Helene Catastrophe

Savannah, Georgia (WTOC) Georgia Southern has opened dining commons on two campuses for students, employees, and their families.

Many people in our area are still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Although Georgia Southern cancelled school on Monday and Tuesday, they are providing dining halls for anyone in need.

Georgia Southern stated on social media that they are opening two eating commons.

Georgia Southern students, staff, and their families can eat at the Dining Commons on the Statesboro Campus or The Galley on the Armstrong Campus every Monday and Tuesday.
