Just In: Indiana Pacers confirm a huge 10 contract agreement
The Indiana Pacers are actively working on improving their roster for the upcoming season. They have re-signed two key power forwards from last year, Pascal Siakam and Obi Toppin, and added James Wiseman in a low-risk, high-reward move.
While Indiana plans to make significant moves during the offseason, they have already drafted three players in the second round, and it will be interesting to see how many of them make the team. Additionally, they signed a fan favorite to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Keisei Tominaga, a standout player from Nebraska who averaged 15 points per game and shot 47% from the field and 38% from three, has been signed by the Pacers. This Exhibit 10 contract gives him a chance to play professionally.
The Pacers sign Keisei Tominaga to an Exhibit 10 contract
An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year deal with a minimum salary that can be converted into a two-way contract before the season starts, allowing NBA teams to bring in more G-League players.
The Pacers aim to acquire talented players and develop them into rotation players over time. While I don’t believe Tominaga will play for the Pacers due to his defensive shortcomings, he could improve by playing with the Mad Ants, their G-League affiliate. A G-League career can be a decent living, and Tominaga’s strong work ethic means he’ll give his all to make it to the NBA.
