BREAKING: Pistons Made A Tough Decision On Their Current Top Rated key Man
The Detroit Pistons are entering a new era under Trajan Langdon, who has wasted no time making significant changes. One of his first major moves was parting ways with Monty Williams, despite a substantial financial commitment remaining. Langdon has now begun restructuring the team’s roster, starting with difficult decisions. According to a report from Mike Scotto of HoopsHype, the Pistons have opted not to extend a qualifying offer to James Wiseman.

As a result of not receiving a qualifying offer, James Wiseman will now enter unrestricted free agency. Last season, he played a career-high 63 games, averaging 7.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in about 17 minutes of play, often behind rising star Jalen Duren.
Wiseman, once highly regarded, faced setbacks including a college suspension and a season-ending injury during his rookie year. Despite possessing strong physical attributes for both ends of the court, his style of play is more traditional, contrasting with today’s fast-paced NBA.
The Golden State Warriors largely moved on from him after just a couple of seasons, and his stint in Detroit wasn’t conducive to his development either. While another team may extend him an offer to revive his career, he remains one of the more disappointing top-three draft picks in recent memory.
